Hey there!
I'm Joke Duwaerts, a 2D animator currently based in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Online, I often go under the nickname Jomocho. I graduated from LUCA School of Arts, Genk in 2022 with my thesis film Sem.

Previous experiences:

2025-2026: Senior animator and posing artist on Sidi Kaba, working from Studio Soi, Ludwigsburg.
2024-2025: Animator on Lilith, a shortfilm produced by Vivi Film.
2023-2024: Mid Level animator on Valemon: The Polar Bear Prince
2023: Junior animator on Miss Winters and the Wind
2022-2023: Junior designer of the Valemon team, working on modelsheets, actions sheets and expression sheets from rough designs by the character artist
2021-2022: Created my thesis film Sem, which has been screened at Animatfest Zagreb, Anima, KortFilm Festival Leuven and more
